International Freshman Merit Scholarship
This merit based scholarship is $2,500 – $11,500 annually. Northwood uses the student’s cumulative grade point average combined with ACT/SAT scores to determine grant value. This scholarship is directly applied to the student account after official documentation has been received. For students living off-campus, the scholarship will be reduced by $2500 annually.
International DECA Scholarships
Students who participated in DECA while in high school are eligible for scholarships ranging from $1,000 - $5,000 annually. Students must continue to participate in Collegiate DECA.
International Transfer Scholarships
Up to $3,000 a year available for international transfer students who meet GPA requirements.
Family Tuition Scholarships
Siblings enrolling at Northwood simultaneously may quality for $1,500 each, annually. To qualify, you and a sibling must be enrolled full-time and full-year at Northwood.
Dependents of Northwood alumnus parents may qualify for $1,000 annually.
Private Donor Scholarships
Many Northwood friends and affiliates have generously provided funding for private donor scholarships to international students.
To be considered for Private Donor Scholarships, please complete the Private Donor Scholarship Opt-In Form and submit one letter of recommendation from a non-family member to the NU Financial Aid office.
Northwood grants athletic scholarships determined by coaches to international students. Recipients must meet NCAA eligibility requirements.
